MORPHIC INFINITY

Morphic Infinity

Experimental Video Installation
In collaboration with Theresia Enzensberger for Stiftung Kunst und Natur, Nantesbuch
Duration: 27 minutes
2024

Light, shadow, and sound form layered textures that shape the audience’s sense of space. The work treats space as a tangible, physical medium: surfaces reflect, absorb, scatter and vibrate light and sound. The interaction of audiovisual layers creates zones of compression and expansion, heightening awareness of presence, scale, and emptiness.

The installation unfolds in three phases:

Morphic Infinity, where sculptural forms of light and texture extend and interlock, emphasizing tension between rigidity and fluidity

Dystopian Space, a phase of fragmentation, where visual and acoustic structures destabilize, probing entropy, collapse, and resistance

Floating, where reduction to elemental forces exposes absence, resonance, and the limits of spatial perception.

Sound and light act as active agents, shaping space and relational thresholds. The installation positions the audience within a system of thresholds, inviting reflection on the resistance, dissolution and collapse of simultaneously coexisting systems.
