EXORDIUM is an experimental electroacoustic composition and an audiovisual installation that examines the ever-shifting relationship between perception and environment, where actions and surroundings continuously shape one another.

Through a fusion of field recordings, electroacoustic compositions derived from experimental percussion and piano improvisation, the work employs Ambisonics sound spatialization to construct a multidimensional sonic environment.

Sound materials evolve, merge, and transform over time, foregrounding processes of instability and change rather than fixed musical forms. Spatial movement and sonic diffusion dissolve singular points of listening, allowing perception to unfold simultaneously across multiple perspectives and positions.

The work unfolds as an evolving perceptual field. Subtle shifts in image and sound accumulate over time, leading to gradual structural changes. Emphasizing duration and transition, the work reveals states of instability that emerge only through sustained presence. It invites a contemplative encounter with thresholds – between stillness and movement, coherence and dissolution – where perception itself becomes the subject of inquiry.
